The ASRock SBC 210

You may have heard the name ASRock being mentioned a few times now on our website, social media sites and of course, this very blog. However, what you may not know is how their new SBC 210 motherboard is a cut above the rest, offering you the perfect balance of value and performance...

Display Solutions can now offer you the new 3.5” SBC industrial board from ASRock, the SBC-210. Incorporating the latest Intel Atom processor, the SBC-210 delivers high-end performance for a wide range of professional equipment, as well as digital signage, POS systems, kiosks, panel PCs and applications in the automation market.

The SBC-210 integrates the latest Intel Atom Baytrail processor, meeting the most recent operating systems requirements. The board is rich in I/O features, including 6 USB ports and 4 COM ports within a small compact footprint of 148 x 102mm. Supporting a single channel DDR3L 1333MHz, the system can hold up to 8GB in memory.

“I am excited to add this new industrial board from ASRock to our portfolio,” comments Brendan O’Reilly, product manager at Display Solutions. “ASRock is effectively the third largest manufacturer of motherboards in the world, and because of this, the SBC-210 is based on both commercial and industrial components; making this particular board especially cost-effective compared to full industrial solutions.”

The SBC-210 is completely fanless; the underside can accept a heat sink for efficient and effective conduction cooling, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use within operating temperatures ranging from 0ºC – 60ºC.

“Thanks to its small footprint and excellent price versus performance ratio, the versatile ASRock SBC-210 meets the design criteria for engineers and system integrators involved within a wide variety of different markets,” adds O’Reilly.
