The Taiwanese company specialises in touch screen controller solutions. Established in 2000, the company now employs over 100 staff and has a turnover which exceeds $30 million USD. EETI prides itself on it’s R&D, with over 50 engineers employed to continuously improve the technology of their products. Over the past 14 years they have developed their expertise in various types of touch screen technology including PCAP, SAW, IR and RES. Display Solutions welcomes Summer Research Intern

With the run up to the Electronics Design Show fast approaching us and a new product launch on the horizon, it’s proving to be a busy summer at Display Solutions HQ in Huntingdon. So what better time is there to have a helping hand than now?

Anita Lin has joined us over the summer period to assist in the research and development in the marketing department for Display Solutions. Currently studying her masters in Marketing at the University of Hertfordshire, Anita has joined the team during her summer break. Originally from Taiwan, Anita worked in the PR industry in her home country before relocating to England to further her studies. With her native language being mandarin, she has the ability to communicate easily with our partners overseas when necessary. 

Anita is currently conducting some key research into new markets for us, ready for our latest product launch and of course, the Electronics Design Show in October. We have been working hard with our partners overseas to develop our DisplayTouch range in the past few months, and we are currently putting the finishing touches on our newest product to be added to the range in late summer. Client and Customer visits: An Essential in Business

Account Manager Brendan O’Reilly has been racking up the miles over the past few weeks after his hectic schedule with customer and client visits has taken him from the North East to the South West and back again.

Visiting clients and customers is a key feature of Brendan’s job and takes him all over the UK on a regular basis, not to mention across to China and Taiwan at least once a year. The Account Manager explains “It’s important to meet our customers and suppliers as much as possible to ensure relationships can be developed and people can put a face to a name. In business, it is still important to know who you are talking to. On the supplier side, we really appreciate the time they spend with us in the UK as it enables us to create a strong strategy to provide the right product and service to our customers, first time.”

In the past month, Brendan has met with our existing partner Litemax and welcomed our new partners CV Touch and ASRock Industrial to the UK.
